Your tasks as a Mechatronics Technician at Omega Mounting
- Assembly and commissioning of machines & industrial plants
- Mechanical and electrical installation of components
- Wiring and connecting control technology
- Supporting machine relocations and plant moves
- Troubleshooting and fault clearance
- Working from technical drawings, circuit diagrams and parts lists
- Supporting maintenance & servicing
- You combine mechanics and electrics – and make sure everything runs.

Who we're looking for
- Completed training as a mechatronics technician (m/f/d) or comparable
- Experience in industry, mechanical engineering or assembly an advantage
- Technical understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
- Independent, structured and reliable way of working
- Category B driving licence (further categories an advantage)
- Willingness to work on assignments (including overnight stays)
- Appetite for varied projects instead of the daily grind

Do I need a driving licence and my own tools?
You should have a category B driving licence; further categories are an advantage. A fully equipped service vehicle is available for many positions; we provide workwear and professional tools.
Where do I stay on assignments?
On short assignments of around one to four weeks you stay in a good mid-range hotel including breakfast – that's standard with us, not the exception. You spend weekends at home. If a site runs for months, we arrange living accommodation: either our own here in the region or – on major projects such as data centres – a flat or house near the site, often shared with other trades. That saves you long journeys and gives you a bit of home even on assignment.
