What a day with us looks like
Real jobs from our project diary – with photos and figures, just as it really goes on site:
Who we're looking for
- Initial experience in a trade, construction or assembly an advantage (not a must)
- Practical skills and physical resilience
- Motivation, reliability and team spirit
- Willingness to work on assignments (including overnight stays)
- Category B driving licence an advantage
- Keen to learn something new and develop yourself
- You don't have to be a pro – but you have to be keen. We'll show you the rest!
What we offer you
- Attractive pay with development opportunities
- Full-time position with long-term prospects
- Alternatively: mini-job or work as a subcontractor
- Varied industrial projects instead of monotonous sites
- Working in a strong, collegial team
- Modern equipment & professional tools
- Weekend work possible (paid accordingly)
- What counts here is performance, team spirit and a taste for big machines.
Where this leads
You start as a helper – you don't have to stay one.
With us you learn the job on site, not in a seminar room. Crane, aerial work platform, telehandler: we train and test in-house. We pay for the licences, but they belong to you – and they're valid everywhere, not just with us.
That's not a promise on paper. One of us started as an intern on site and is now a qualified electrical worker. A mechatronics technician from our team is currently doing his technician qualification part-time – alongside work.
And the driving licence? We can talk about it. Not everyone gets it automatically – but if you're needed and we have plans for you, we've paid for the full BE licence before.
How fast things move depends on you. Anyone who's reliable and thinks along is in a different place after a year than on day one. Others stay helpers – that's fine too, then it's simply a solid job.
Why Omega Mounting?
- Industrial projects throughout the Rhine-Main region
- Exciting machine assembly & plant relocations
- Clear communication & direct contacts
- No corporation – real teamwork
- This is where people get stuck in. And move things together.

Frequently asked questions about the Assembly Helper job
Do I need completed vocational training?
No. As an assembly helper you can start without formal training. Initial experience in a trade, construction or assembly is an advantage but not a must – practical skills, physical resilience and reliability matter more to us. You work in a team with experienced fitters and learn something new every day.
Where are the work locations?
Our base is Rodgau. From there you work throughout the Rhine-Main region – and on larger projects across Germany. Assignments with overnight stays are part of the job.
Is the position also available as a mini-job or for subcontractors?
We fill the position full-time with long-term prospects. Alternatively a mini-job or cooperation as a subcontractor is possible – just tell us in your application what suits you.
Do I need a driving licence and my own tools?
You should have a category B driving licence; further categories are an advantage. A fully equipped service vehicle is available for many positions; we provide workwear and professional tools.
Where do I stay on assignments?
On short assignments of around one to four weeks you stay in a good mid-range hotel including breakfast – that's standard with us, not the exception. You spend weekends at home. If a site runs for months, we arrange living accommodation: either our own here in the region or – on major projects such as data centres – a flat or house near the site, often shared with other trades. That saves you long journeys and gives you a bit of home even on assignment.
